​What is UPVC ?

​UPVC is plastic. Based on polyvinyl chloride or PVC, the material is a cheap option that is flexible and strong. Much cheaper than natural wood, UPVC plastic is just as strong and reliable. This is why PVC front doors are so popular with security minded home owners.

It is also a practical choice as it is very easy to clean and isn't prone to chips and damage like untreated timber.  It is far easier to manage and maintain a high quality appearance for your front door. 

There will always be a market for upvc doors as they are more affordable but are also​ very durable and effective in comparison to the price of other types of doors.

They are very low maintenance , high in security and available now in a range of tasteful colours such as blue, greys and greens  along with a prestige colour collection which includes the likes of rustic cherry and irish Oak.

The locking systems are far more advanced now than in previuos versions of PVC doors, with ours offering a 9 point mulipoint locking strip and Q-lon weather gasket for a guaranteed draft proofing. 

French door Glazing Upgrade​

All the French doors and patios come with Toughened safety glass as standard and have an optional upgrade on the glazing.

With the option of moving up from a C  to an A Rated -  this is recommended as the glazing involved is usually quite a large area.​ This is also the case with any our bi-folding doors.

Bi -Folding Doors

Our bi folding doors are to the highest spec and attain an A Rated standard. They have multiple options on the openers depending on how many leafs are involved.
